Plantasia 2026
Each spring, plant lovers gather to celebrate horticulture and community. Plantasia, hosted by the Charleston Horticultural Society, is more than just a plant sale, it is a full Lowcountry gardening experience. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, April 11th at the Mount Pleasant Farmers Market.
The Charleston Horticultural Society, known as CHS Hort, has played a significant role in shaping Charleston’s culture around gardening, education, and environmental stewardship. Through workshops, events, and community programs, the organization seeks to equip horticulture enthusiasts across the Lowcountry through every step of the gardening process.
Plantasia has become Charleston Horticulture’s biggest garden celebration. This event provides opportunities to shop, learn, and interact with the community. Attendees will be able to browse through a wide variety of plants from various vendors and the Member’s Favorites from CHS Hort. Plantasia is not just about the plants. There will be a Real Yard Sale for yard essentials. Charleston Horticulture welcomes donations for this yard sale during business hours or by appointment.
Beyond shopping, there are interactive activities for the whole family. Children will have the opportunity to experience gardening at the hands-on Children’s Garden. This event is also a great conversation starter about the importance of stewarding the environment for the next generation.
Plantasia plays an important role in strengthening Charleston’s gardening community. During the event, there will be countless workshops and educational opportunities to learn from professionals in the industry.
The Charleston Arborist is thrilled to support the Charleston Horticultural Society and participate in this event. We believe in protecting trees, clients’ properties, and our environment, and we are excited to share our tree care and soil nourishment expertise with the community.
Whether you are a seasoned gardener, nature enthusiast, or just passionate about the outdoors, Plantasia is an event worth experiencing because there is always something new to learn about our environment.
